Skills audit  Skills which  I  feel I've had for a long time before doing this UAL course, are improvisation skills , observation skills and body  awareness. I feel that these skills were attributed by my professional  experience outside of education with the  Young Actors Theatre agency.  I feel These skills were all acquired by my training at Young Actors Theatre way  before  taking this course. However  I've  definitely  attained new skills and developed skills I always had such as  environmental  awareness and using the space instead of being in just one part of the stage.  I've also developed better Collaborative  skills by working a lot with my class mates and always sharing new ideas, contributing  to the success of our productions.   My class mates even described me as  being a  team player when it comes to  contribution and having good analytical skills. I have a good stage presence because I'm environmentally aware of my surroundings as I act

Personal Statment

Personal statment  From an extreamley young age Ive always had a passion in Performing arts. I loved entertaining an  audiences in many  artistic forms wether that be Dancing , Singing Or Acting. Self teaching myself to dance from a young age in order to perform in front of people and hearing their reactions really gave me confidence despite being shy in my early stages. At the age of six I started to attend the Young Actors Theatre (YATI) every Saturday in Angel, Islington. I did a lot of work shops and productions over the summer at YATI like dance workshops in which I played a part in the production of Bugsy Malone . By the age of nine I was called to audition for the agency and got in. Ive always loved movies but I  never saw acting as a career to pursue until I got into the agency and saw it first hand with all the auditions . I also didn’t want to be an actor until  I worked with Simon Pegg on set  in the film A Fantastic Fear Of Everything. The experiance and achiev

A  Christmas Carol At the end of unit nine we will be doing a performance of the classic novella 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens .Published in 1843 ‘A Christmas Carol’ has since become the poster child for Christmas stories and has influenced other massively iconic Christmas tales like 'The Grinch that Stole Christmas' which was essentially a retold version of the original. Throughout this unit we will be collaborating with the dance and musical theatre students in our college to incorporate singing and dancing into our  production making it a piece of musical theatre.  The story follows the main protagonist Ebeneezer Scrooge who at the beginning of the novella, is shown to be a cold-hearted miser who despises Christmas. Dickens even describes him as such : "The cold within him froze his old features, nipped his pointed nose, shrivelled his cheek, stiffened his gait; made his eyes red, his thin lips blue; and spoke out shrewdly in his grating vo
